Returning to Play – Be informed – Be Careful

Athletes from all sports are upping their workout intensity level as team sports slowly move towards a return to play. The result is that I’m starting to see a steady increase in the number of injuries and other physical complaints.

So what’s missing?  For me it’s having a clear understanding of your personal injury risk and training strategies that reduce your chances of  you getting injured in the first place. A great place to start is with an assessment of your personal injury risk factors. Follow this with an individualized plan to target risks and improve performance and you can spend more time playing and less time rehabbing an injury.
